Maciek Jabłoński – photographer cooperating with National Geographic Poland, filmmaker, owner of the F11 studio (f11-studio.pl / f11-photo.pl), graduate of the Silesian University of Technology and the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań at the Faculty of Film Production and Photography.

He creates film and documentary projects. His latest film Selma, set in Antarctica, has won numerous awards at Polish and international festivals. It was screened in the USA, Argentina, China, South Korea, Italy, the UK, Denmark and Albania, among others.

Maciek – as a photographer – likes to talk about the world and its dependencies, responsible action and the relationship between man and nature. He is a frequent juror in film and photography competitions. As part of his F11 studio, he also organises photography workshops in various parts of the world (f11-stories.pl). His photographs have been published in magazines such as National Geographic Poland, Traveler, Przekrój, Magazyn Pismo, Twój Styl, ElleMan, ULTRA or Trail. He is a two-time winner in the Grand Press Photo competition.

In addition to photography and film, the F11 studio is involved in graphic design, typesetting and production. The F11 team has a number of award-winning photo publications to their credit, such as Jacek Poremba’s album 13, published for the Polish distributor Leica Camera, or Mariusz Śmiejek’s photobook Not Surrendering, which won many prestigious awards, including 1st place in the IPA competition in the category ‘Photopublication / People’.

Privately Maciek loves mountains, travels to little frequented corners of the world and is an amateur mountain climber.
